Indicator Unit Type 30

Used on AI MkVI (ARI 5006). AI MkVI was a 1.5 metre wavelength equipment, designed to be fitted in single-seat aircraft.

The equipment was used briefly in Defiant II's in late 1941. In early 1942, trials were carried out, using a Hurricane.
With the development of centimetric AI, the MkVI became obsolescent before being used operationally.
